Fruits of Lviv 

 At first glance, this may seem a somewhat odd, off the wall crawl, indeed, one may wonder if there is a cider scene in Lviv at all. A mere flight of fancy that could easily be added to a beer tour. We disagree. Not everyone who drinks beer likes cider and vice versa. Mixing the two together is simply a really bad idea.

 We are no Normandy, nor are we a Brittany. Make mention of Taunton or Somerset and you will get blank stares. That's a pity. We've never seen West Country cider ("scrumpy") in Lviv, and French cider here is rare, but it's ok! Some of the most toothsome tipples we've ever tasted have been in the cidery hideaways of Lviv old town. Rather hard to find, in fact, but we know all the ways in.

 Get acquainted with peculiar traditions that blend malt, elderberry and pomegranate with horseradish, hive honey and thyme. Field strawberry and garden grape, harvest peach, moon melon and fresh lime are just some of the fruity Ukrainian ciders that are never out of season. Naturally added fermenting flavours of wild yeasts from the wine fields of Zaporizhzhia will leave your tastebuds craving more!
